Installation of wind turbine and tower drum for Gulema 50MW wind power project in Pakistan
The wind farm is located in the southern state of Sindh (Sindh, Pakistan) , about 135km from the port city of Karachi and about 27km from the city of Hyderabad, the project is located near the port of Qasim, on the M-9 Highway (a two-lane Highway) , on the N5 National Highway (a single lane) and on the railway from Karachi. The wind farm relies mainly on the M-9 highway and the port of Qasim for transportation access. The total installed capacity of the project is 50MW, using 202.5 MW wind turbines produced by Goldwind Technology Co. , Ltd. .
Faced with the impact of the epidemic and the adverse impact of the“Rush to install tide” in China, the project team used the local resources in the wind turbine hoisting of the third round of wind power projects, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project by adopting the construction mode of“Pakistan main crane driver + Chinese mechanical team” or“China main crane driver + Pakistan mechanical team”, complete the lifting operation at 100 meters in adverse weather.
The third round of wind power projects will deliver 2 billion kilowatt-hours of green energy to Pakistan's power grid every year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 2 million tons, it is of great significance to solve the problem of power shortage, and will play an important role in energy saving, emission reduction and green development in Pakistan.
